To the End of Courage

When you can only fathom Death and Reaper

How do we fathom life in its measure

Is there a difference within its repetition

It becomes us all. For there is no escape  from either

Beginning to end

A twisted mortal dance and forever struggle that Lasts

Through the judgement  that each of us are prey to

Look out the window of the soul, see the Dawn again and

It’s treasure promising a New Beginning

Yet we may only fathom death today

But living by its virtue for tomorrow

All the more precious  life becomes…

So we may breathe once more when the Sun shines

Upon our face for the first time again

And it feels like Courage …
